I have a wealth of experience in translation, having translated over half a million (500,000) words for major multinational clients throughout my career so far. While I'm not able to disclose the names of these clients, if you can think of a brand, I've most likely translated for them.
Translating this many words means I've seen everything there is to see in the linguistic world; whether that's 200-page clinical trial documents, subtitles with four people speaking at once, fun cosmetic packaging, or ground-breaking software code.
Part of my career has also been spent working in linguistic accessibility, where we ensure that our writing is appropriate for readerships such as those with autism, dyslexia, dementia, or other health conditions. As a result, I have the experience required to make your text accessible for all audiences—regardless of their comprehension level—to ensure that all your readers are able to take in and understand the information presented. Having worked in the NHS for many years, I'm acutely aware of how important it is that everybody receives communications in an individualised, appropriate manner.
