• Video game localisation: I'm a huge gamer, and some of those games are the reason I'm a translator today. Some of the best games weren't originally produced in English, and without localisers making them available internationally, millions of English speakers wouldn't have access to that content...and they need to see it.

• Software localisation: We've all experienced a bad UI at some point. I can make your app or program user-friendly for English speakers - be it the whole interface, or simply menus, toolbars or hotkeys.

And people deserve to know what they're putting on their skin - I can translate ingredient lists and instructions so that buyers aren't left thinking 'how the hell do I use this?'
