Why choose me?
Well, that depends on your project.
Medical translation: Having worked in the NHS for several years (and one of my main duties being clinical coding), I'm incredibly familiar with medical conditions and terminology. I also have first-hand experience of medical information being unavailable in my native language, so I know how important it is for patients to have the best quality of care possible.
LGBTQ+ content: In a time where terminology relating to sexuality and gender identity are ever-changing, it can be difficult to find the right words for your publication. As part of the community, I can help you navigate this to ensure that your readers feel safe and welcome in your space.
Video game localisation: I'm a huge gamer, and some of those games are the reason I'm a translator today. Some of the best games weren't originally produced in English, and without localisers making them available internationally, millions of English speakers wouldn't have access to that content...and they need to see it.
Software localisation: We've all experienced a bad UI at some point, and it can make the software difficult to navigate and cumbersome to use. I can make your app or program user-friendly for English speakers - be it the whole interface, or simply menus, toolbars or hotkeys.
Skincare and cosmetics translation: What's that one product you bought because you thought 'oh my god that packaging is SO pretty'? Well, yours is next. I can give your branding the punch it needs to reel in buyers from across the globe...before they fall in love with the product itself. And people deserve to know what they're putting on their skin - I can translate ingredient lists and instructions so that buyers aren't left thinking 'how on Earth do I use this?'
